There is a sequel project for 2021's biggest Netflix movie "Red Notice", which starred Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot. It turns out that Directed and written by Lawson Marshall Thurber.
In "Red Notice", a world-wide robbery chase drama by the three gorgeous actors at the beginning was drawn. It will be distributed on November 12, 2021, recording the highest number of households distributed on the first day of Netflix movie history. Not only that, the film surpassed 2018's "Bird Box" for the number of hours watched in the first 28 days after its release, making it the highest-rated Netflix movie in history.
Netflix has been actively producing sequels to hit movies, and it seems that "Red Notice" is no exception. In an interview with Collider, director Lawson Marshall Thurber opened up about the progress of the sequel.
"I'm not working on a script for a sequel right now. I'm just exploring ideas for what to do next. I'm trying not to tell anyone about this [ideas]. Netflix and are having a conversation."
According to Director Thurber's story, the sequel project seems to be progressing behind the scenes. Netflix hasn't given the go-ahead yet, but it's only a matter of time. The concern is whether Hollywood's biggest stars Dwayne, Reynolds, and Gadot will be able to adjust their schedules. Since each of the three is preparing to shoot multiple next works, it seems that it will not be easy.
