Ordered for "Local 5G System" in major energy business manufacturing equipment

Panasonic System Solutions Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo -ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tatsuo Katakura, Panasonic Group has changed to Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd. from April 2022).We received an order from Osaka Gas Co., Ltd. and DAIGAS Gas and Power Solution Co., Ltd., which is used by Himeji Works, which is responsible for city gas manufacturing.From March 2022, we plan to deliver network equipment and base stations, starting with 5G core equipment.

This time, in addition to the introduction and operation of the network in the plant industry, which is our strength, we have adopted proposals for the optimal multi-network construction, including Wi-Fi, based on local 5G.With this network, we aim to improve on -site operations and reduce operation and management costs.In addition, the total support of introduction, construction, and operation, including consulting such as planning and requirement definitions, and the service proposal for END TO END that supports site DX for future development is also evaluated.

In recent years, due to the declining birthrate and aging population and the shortage of human resources associated with the retirement of skilled people, the problem of saving on -site work, eliminating individualization, and inheriting business know -how is the challenge.In addition, it is required to respond promptly in the event of an emergency such as a natural disaster and the safety management of workers.In order to solve these issues, DX (Digital Transformation) due to smart factory is urgently needed at the plant site, and data such as on -site work, video and sound, etc., using our strengths, which are our strengths.The demand for multi -networks, which is optimal on -site, is increasing as a technology that supports the transmission of the transmission, speeding up emergency response due to remote meetings, and managing the safety of site employees by collecting location information.

これまで当社は、2020年9月に大阪ガス泉北製造所へ「自営等BWAシステム」を納入^※1し、現場課題解決などのコンサルティングやプラント業界特有の現場環境を熟知したネットワーク設計、24時間/365日の遠隔サポート体制により、製造所におけるセキュアかつ安定した自営無線ネットワークの導入・構築・運用を実現してきました。今回導入する大阪ガス姫路製造所では、現場マルチネットワークサービスの新たなラインアップである「ローカル5Gシステム」を用いて、5Gの特長である超高速大容量に加え、将来展開として超低遅延・多数同時接続が可能なネットワーク環境を実現していくことで、製造所で目指しているスマートファクトリー化をサポートし、現場のDXを加速します。
