KDDI, 3DCG, the clothes design of students who look at the work over smart glass

The design of clothes produced by Bell Epock Beauty College students will be digitized and exhibited with 3DCG so that the fabric feeling can be confirmed through smart glasses with the cooperation of Tokyo Fashion Technology Lab.

At the GINZA 456, which is the exhibition hall, you can watch digital works through smart glasses.You can experience as if the work exists on the spot while actually approaching and turning around.Through the "au XR Door" app, you can see exhibits outside the venue, such as home.

This exhibition is the first installment of the project "FASHION MEETS Technology in Shibuya", a project that will be jointly implemented by KDDI's creative team "au Vision Studio" from November 2021 and Mirai Shibuya Design.The company aims to promote the understanding of the disposal issues in the apparel industry, which excretes 45,000 tons of scraps a year, and provide students with opportunities for manufacturing without waste.
