Mr. Abe The iPhone is not included in the high-spec model in the previous document.
Regarding the change in the ratio, I think that the price of the terminal has risen relatively due to the revision of the business law. Customers who are sensitive to price are thought to have chosen the standard model, and as a result, I understand that the ratio was as shown earlier.
On the other hand, there are also customers who require high functionality, so I think that we should provide a certain number of high-spec terminals that are characteristic of such customers.
-Is it correct to say that all the models this time are SIM-free?
Mr. Abe Since the terminals we released after August 27th are not SIM-locked, there is no need to unlock them. We would like to provide all future terminals without SIM lock.
-Since the SIM lock is gone, it is now possible to purchase without a line contract, but is there any change in the sales situation? The iPhone has already been released, so please tell us about that situation.
Mr. Yamamoto Regarding the impact of SIM-free on handset sales, we plan to look at it together with customer needs. Our sales prices are slightly different from those sold by Apple for iPhones, so I think there will be cases where people will choose different places to buy depending on their needs.
Therefore, we would like to offer discounts while assessing such needs.
