[Installation review] Nissan Note e-POWER by Sound Station Auto Station K2 Part 1

Aiming to listen to jazz comfortably, Mr. Ikedo combined his notebook e-power car with a Symphoni Quattro Ligo power amplifier and DEER speakers. Together with the sound station K2 in Osaka Prefecture, he created a solid sound as intended.

Create a laminated board in the luggage and install the power amplifier and DSP under the floor

Take full advantage of the spare tire space under the floor of the notebook e-power luggage to install 3 power amplifiers (1 unit) built-in under the floor) and DSP installed. In addition, we adopted a 3-level hierarchy in which a subwoofer is installed in the upper hierarchy. An elaborate luggage that is full of highlights in terms of sound and design has been completed.

Sinfoni Quattro Ligo power amplifiers appear when you remove the luggage floorboard, which has a role to bring out the acoustic characteristics of the bass and protection. In addition, the Helix DSP is also laid out in the amplifier rack. In addition, another power amplifier is built in under the floor, and a 2-way + subwoofer multi-drive system is constructed with 3 power amplifiers.

Amp rack with brown panel treatment has a chic and calm mood. The Symphoni Quattro Ligo power amplifier with a silver face panel and the Helix DSP PRO MkII with a black body are laid out and the coloring is good. In addition, since the two power amps have the same top and bottom size, installing them side by side creates a sense of unity, which is a design process unique to the same series of amps.

Mr. Ikedo's notebook e-power with 3 Symphoni Quattro Ligo power amps installed in the luggage. The neatly laid out amp rack is beautifully decided. The Precision One used for the tweeter is laid out on the left side, and the Heritage Two for the subwoofer is laid out on the right side, with the amplifiers of the same series arranged side by side. In addition, although you can't see it in the photo, Precision Two for mid bass is installed at the bottom of the floor. By using the same series of power amps to drive all the speakers, a sense of unity in sound is brought out. In addition, it is also attractive to show an excellent finish in terms of total balance in terms of design.

Helix's DSP PRO MkII receives input from the Walkman NW-WH1Z audio player and controls the system. The main unit is installed in front of the amplifier rack, and it is also a key unit for designing a wide luggage in a well-balanced manner. Previously, a processor with built-in navigation system was used, but in this system, a single DSP is introduced to improve controllability. It has enough adjustment ability and system versatility to compete in audio competitions.

The subwoofer is equipped with a special panel to bring out the richness of the bass.

A subwoofer is installed at the top of the luggage compartment. Equipped with a detachable enclosure, it also ensures ease of maintenance for the units installed under the luggage floor, which has a laminated structure. The subwoofer used is DEER's RJ300. All the front speakers are also unified with DEER units. According to the owner, "This unit is particularly attractive for its wood-based sound and expressiveness," and is highly satisfied with DEER's subwoofer.

The mounting surface is also devised. As I introduced earlier, the power amplifier is installed on the luggage floor, but it is unique to cover it with a protective panel and add another panel for the subwoofer. It is said that this is a unique device to bring out the thickness of the low range. In order to bring out the full potential of DEER's subwoofers, we are thoroughly particular about the installation.

Note e-Power is a system that carefully selects units that the owner likes. I was very satisfied with the sound and design.
