I think the interesting thing about history is actually connected to our world.For example, Nobunaga's life, the story of what happened in Honnoji Temple, was a very romantic story, but it wasn't a story of a different world, but eventually happening in Japan.I think it's because there is a sense of being connected to the history of living.It's sad that Nobunaga dies there, but what if he was alive?However, Hideyoshi took over the footprints he followed, and there are some parts that are now connected.If you go to Kyoto in the first place, there is actually Honnoji Temple.

"World" in "World Chain" means the world where we live.Along with the word chain, the theme of connection with this world is the title as it is.

でもTonozakiは、ゲームを作りたいんだという意欲がすごくありました。それで、本作のディレクターとして、ぜひやってほしいと入ってもらったんです。こういう規模のネイティブゲームのディレクションは初めてでしたし、すごく苦戦していた部分もあると思います。でも、作りながら本当に成長していってくれて、いまようやくこれが世に出たことが、個人的にもすごく、感慨深いです。

――Tonozakiさんは、2年やってきていかがでしたか？

Matsunaga

There are a lot of smartphone games in the world where characters are summoned and fight, but when you enter the battle, most of the games start from the state where the heroes are lined up.Instead, in a real -time game, I thought that I could create a new fun to actually call the heroes on the spot and fight, so the current game system has been created.。

――What is the major difference between “Chain Ro” and “World Chain” in the battle part?

Matsunaga<1キャラずつものすごくコストのかかる作りかたをしているので……列伝ストーリーってふつうに作るだけでもすごくたいへんなんですよね。歴史考証もありますし。バトルの相性とかもしっかり考えていますし……ちょっと心配しています（笑）。リライターも、ひとり増えたら、アドベンチャーパートを何話分作らなければいけないんだとか（笑）。
