The first thing to note is that your iPhone must be running iOS 15 or higher to use Apple Pay's nanaco. Please complete the upgrade in advance.
With Apple Pay's nanaco, you can import the balance and points of a nanaco card with a rainbow design. Note that nanaco cards with designs other than rainbow colors cannot be imported.
To import, first open the "WALLET app" on your iPhone and tap the "+" mark at the top right of the app.
On the next screen, tap "electronic money", then "nanaco", and enter the last four digits of the "nanaco number" on the back of the nanaco card and your date of birth. On the next screen, overlap the iPhone and the physical card to complete the import.
Once imported, the physical card cannot be used.
Even if you don't have a physical card, you can issue a new nanaco card on your iPhone. In that case, you can issue a new card by downloading the "nanaco app" and following the instructions. Up to 8 nanaco cards can be registered per Apple ID.
This method is the same as Suica, tap "Wallet" from Apple Watch app on iPhone. You can migrate to Apple Watch by following the instructions.
Two nanaco cards can be issued, one can be used for an iPhone and the other for an Apple Watch.
In addition to various credit cards, you can also recharge with cash at 7-Eleven cash registers, Seven Bank ATMs, and nanaco charging machines, as well as payment methods registered with Apple Pay.
