Personally, I am particular about keyboards, and I own a high-end machine that costs more than 30,000 yen, but it is rare that I can use it while switching modes between Windows and Mac, mobile OS, so I bought it with interest. I tried to.
In terms of hardware, it is a very common keyboard with a JIS layout key pitch of 18 mm and a pantograph type. Although it is a full key scale, the thickness of the main body is as thin as 6 to 14.4 mm, and it does not get in the way because it has a mechanism that can stand.
Compatible OS is Windows, Mac, iOS (iPadOS), Android. Windows and Android use the same mode. Up to 3 units can be paired at the same time. Since it does not support wired connection, you will be using it while switching between the three paired units. Select the connection destination in combination with the function keys. The switching was very smooth and the connection itself was stable.
When connecting to Windows, it is the same as a normal keyboard and there is no discomfort. When Mac mode is selected, it replaces unnecessary keys on Mac with Command and Option keys that are only available on Mac. Since it is necessary to switch the pairing destination and mode separately, for example, if you pair Windows with Bluetooth 1 and Mac with 2, you need to operate twice with "Function + 2" and "Function + E" to switch to Mac. Become. I thought it would be more convenient if you could memorize this as a set.
What was interesting was the behavior when connected to the iPad. The iOS system normally recognizes a third-party keyboard as a US layout, but this unit is input as stamped. Probably it is processed internally. Since it can be used with the same behavior as a genuine Apple (or some Logitech products) keyboard = Mac, it will be much more comfortable to use a keyboard that straddles the OS, which tends to be confusing. I would like you to release a high-end model that is particular about the feeling of keystrokes.
[Updated on October 14, 2021] In iPadOS 15.0.2 or later, it has been modified so that third-party keyboards are also recognized as JIS layout.
This multi-pairing keyboard is an affordable price of 3780 yen for the model without the numeric keypad and 3980 yen for the model with the numeric keypad, so if you own multiple devices, you should feel free to try it first.
