This time, Swiss company Officine Fioravanti has released a restored model of Ferrari Testarossa. The official name is "The Testarossa by Officine Fioravanti", and while maintaining the iconic look of the Testarossa, the aerodynamics, chassis and powertrain have been upgraded. The original 4.9-liter V12 engine has been modified to deliver a maximum output of 510ps, a maximum torque of 442lb-ft, and a top speed of 323km/h. The first generation Testarossa had a maximum output of about 380ps and a maximum speed of 290km/h. Officine Fioravanti's version of the V12 also features controls that allow the driver to adjust power output. Also added is an adjustable exhaust system made of titanium to save weight. Officine Fioravanti says the total weight of this restored model has been reduced by nearly 120kg compared to the normal Testarossa. In addition, mechanical upgrades were also made for the purpose of improving safety and driving performance. It has Brembo brakes, Öhlins dampers, adjustable anti-roll bars and the latest ABS and traction control. It also has a system that lifts the nose to protect the car from scratches. The wheels have been changed from the original 16-inch to 17-inch at the front and 18-inch at the rear. The exterior is largely untouched, but the underbody has been sealed to improve aerodynamics. The interior has also been thoroughly revised. New leather is used and some old plastic parts have been replaced with metal ones. A new audio system has also been added, along with controls for adjusting the items mentioned above. Officine Fioravanti has also added a 1980s-style car phone that connects to a mobile phone via Bluetooth, ensuring that the style stays true to the 80s feel whether you're making or receiving a call. The release date and price of "The Testarossa by Officine Fioravanti" are yet to be announced.
