Mr. and Mrs. K (40s) Ota-ku, Tokyo / 35 years old / 58.76㎡ / Total construction cost about 9 million yen

Mr. and Mrs. K who are both working on food. Although it is his favorite job, he has a hard side such as "early morning", so he wanted to relax as much as possible at home.
One of the hopes of the two is that they want a small rise that can be rumbling. I made a small rise with a nice view near the window in the corner of the living room. The space between the window and the small rise is on the inner terrace with Oya stone. The long and narrow space looks like a veranda, and I enjoy putting the green on it.
We have also created a relaxing space throughout the house, such as a dining space with round tables and chairs, and a corner with a small sofa. It seems that you are relaxing by selecting a place according to the mood of the day. In addition to the space, the lighting has a dimming function so that you can relax by reducing the brightness even in the early hours of the night.
Another reason for making a small rise is also because of my work and careful physical condition management. It seems that the two of them measure the temperature every day, but if one of them feels sick, they will not sleep together in the bedroom, and the small rise will be the other bedroom.
The kitchen of these two people is compact but practical. The gas stove has a strong firepower, and the range hood has high functionality, making it look like a kitchen.
Some people who work in the food industry say that they don't cook at home, but they both want to cook. It seems that they sometimes stand in the kitchen together, so the aisles are wide enough to pass each other. The shelves on the sink are professional specifications that are actually used in the kitchen, and I installed them after verifying the height that is easy to use.
The pantry attached to the kitchen is a wish for two people. As a backyard, you can store cooking utensils, ingredients, cookbooks, etc., and the kitchen is refreshing. There are two entrances to the pantry, one on the corridor side and the other on the kitchen side, which are directly connected to the entrance. The entrance on the kitchen side is also a shelter so that two people do not collide when cooking.
The interior has a well-balanced combination of Scandinavian and Japanese tastes that both of you like. Mr. K DIY the small wooden bench in the "attic" and the wooden cabinet for audio equipment. I semi-ordered the cupboard at D & DEPARTMENT and arranged my favorite tableware. Some of the tableware was made by Mr. K's aunt. The whole house has a subdued tone of brown and white, but green furniture and accessories are placed here and there to accent the interior.
The house is not a workplace, but an important place to support work. Working hard and relaxing at home seems to be a good cycle.
Husband: It's an inner terrace. It's not a large area, but it has a nice atmosphere if it contains something with a slightly different texture.
Wife: It's a pantry. It's nice that you can always see what you like without storing it. Place the stool, sit down and read the cookbook, and start cooking right away. It's a space that I haven't lived in before.
Husband: I went to the showroom. I was involved in a world I had never known before. We designed it together, but it was fun to think about how to arrange the furniture and so on.
Wife: I enjoyed many things I didn't know and had never done. When deciding one by one, I was satisfied with studying for myself, consulting with professionals, and progressing little by little.
2 people: We were able to confirm each other by verbalizing what we liked and what we liked. Sometimes my favorite things were similar and sometimes different. The two of us shared a love for trees and nature.
Husband: There is an upper limit on the budget, so it was difficult to decide where to cut after saying a lot of hope.
Wife: Both of us had a busy period of work, so it was difficult to allocate time. I was surprised when I told the people at work that I had moved.
